About the Role
Techgenyz is seeking editorial interns who have a strong eye for detail and enjoy improving written content. This role focuses on readability, consistency, accuracy, and the quality of published articles.
What You'll Do
- Proofread articles for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and clarity.
- Improve sentence flow, structure, and readability.
- Check names, links, references, and factual details.
- Review headlines, summaries, and article formatting.
- Help maintain a consistent editorial style.
- Coordinate revisions and communicate editorial feedback clearly.
What We're Looking For
- Strong English language and proofreading skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Interest in technology journalism and digital publishing.
- Ability to assess whether content is clear, accurate, and logically organized.
- A thoughtful and constructive approach to feedback.
Helpful Additional Skills
- Experience editing student publications, blogs, or other written work.
- Familiarity with style guides.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress and SEO.
